Join Clevelanders for Public Transit next Wednesday night to as we discuss how to Get Out The Vote and get transit-friendly candidates elected to office!
We’ll also contact members of CPT to join us on election day to distribute information on candidates and their views on transit.

We continue to call on Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson to appoint a RTA rider to the board. Let’s make this happen!
The majority of RTA board does not ride transit and does not understand what must be done to make RTA successful. Riders must have a say directly in RTA to turn things around.

Last month we also discussed system redesign plans in Indianapolis and Columbus that have been successful in winning more local funding for transit, as well as increasing ridership.
With fare increases and service cuts ridership is down over 10% since last year.
