Tell RTA: seek full levy funding
RTA’s board will decide at their upcoming 22 September meeting whether to place a 0.25% or a 0.5% funding levy on the ballot for May 2027. A 0.25% levy will only reverse cuts for a few years and is insufficient to bring long-term stability to our transit system. On the other hand, a 0.5% levy provides enough funding to create a far-reaching network of frequent, dependable buses that will transform regional mobility and cement public transit as a reliable way to get around. Submit a public comment ahead of the Board’s meeting emphasizing the importance of creating a robust transit network and urging them to place a 0.5% levy on the ballot using the form below:
